First wedding shoot!
I recently shot my first wedding and incorporated the single shot story behind the photos. I'm sure you guessed what this one was of, yes, the flowers.
This is Marissa. I snapped this one of her straightening her hair...she has a lot of it!
Nervous groom before the wedding. He fumbled with his boutonniere for a few minutes before he finally got it on.
The bride! Look at that smile! This was seconds before she tackled Beth, to the right, for doing her hair and makeup for her big day.
"Show me your ring finger!"
The rings :)
The end :)
Riverview Fall Camp 2010
A few weekends ago, I went to Fall Youth Camp at Riverview with my church. I am a leader :) I got to shoot the entire weekend!
Here's Becka. She was eating breakfast, I liked the milk on the table, so I shot it wanting her face in the background.
The entire camp had a jumping contest to see who could get the highest in the slides. This was my best air action shot!
This is Elle. She is scared of the slide I guess, thus whey she covered her face.
The leaders game. Chad covering Chris's face in...yes marshmallow creme.
Close up of Elizabeth's face after marshmallow application.
The purpose of the marshmallow face covering? To throw rice crispy cereal them, thus the game name "Rice Crispy Treat FACES"
What a great volleyball candid, Kim and Nikkis faces in the background are priceless, Jordan is following through with his hit, while Cody grabbed the ball, and Chris is close behind with the boys waiting for it to come back over. They probably shouldn't go pro.
Nikki. She is all hair. This was her watching as the volleyball match went on.
This is Jessie. She is a phenomenal pianist, here she is sorting her music with a strong side light hitting her and a blank blue projection screen in the back.
I'm obsessed with silhouettes. I love taking them. These were some skater boys at an inside half pipe, patiently waiting their turn and talking about different wheels.
The group. Minus me, I was taking the photo :)
